A bustling city centre tapas bar in the Market Square open for lunch and dinner Monday to Friday, all-day Saturday and also open for Sunday lunch. The restaurants motto is “A little piece of Spain in the heart of Salisbury” and the welcome is warm and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing and buzzy.
Food is available from an extensive tapas menu for around £3.95 each. Racciones (double portions) are also available for sharing. For those who want to sample a selection of tapas the tapas tower allows you to try 4 different dishes. Paella is cooked to order, one course designed for 2 to share. A full range of continental beers and wines are available.
The decoration is smart with wooden floors and ceilings and leather chairs but does not try to be too Spanish, no Bullfighting posters or straw donkeys. The restaurant is on two floors, there is a bar downstairs sitting 28, and upstairs a comfortable lounge area and a formal restaurant seating 38. There is a large al fresco area fronting onto the square and this is ideal on a warm summer’s day if you fancy seeing the world go by. There is a limited amount of outside seating on Butcher Row as well.
Tables can be booked on 01722 555888.
