Contributors

If you’ve been invited to become a contributor, please follow these instructions to get started.  If you’re interested in writing for Spanish Food World, please visit the Contact Page and send us a message.  If you’re representing a business or organisation and would like to feature them on Spanish Food World, please also contact us first.

If you don’t already have an account, here’s how to make one:

  1. Go to www.spanishfoodworld.co.uk/contributors.
  2. On the sidebar menu, choose Register.
  3. Choose a username and enter your email address.
  4. You’ll see a message confirming your new username and informing you that you need to activate your account.
  5. To activate your account, just click on the link in the email that you will receive immediately.
  6. You will now see confirmation of your activation and your new password – this password will also be send to you by email.

Once you have an account, you can login:

  1. Go to www.spanishfoodworld.co.uk/contributors.
  2. On the sidebar menu, choose Login.
  3. Enter your username and password.

If you’ve just registered for an account or already have an account, please make sure your profile is up to date.  We cannot enable posting on your account until you have an up-to-date profile page:

  1. Once you have logged in, choose Profile on the sidebar menu.
  2. Enter your first name, last name and nickname and choose how you would like your name displayed publicly on the site.  If you are representing a business or organisation, please enter your own name in First Name and Last Name, and enter the organisation’s name in ‘Nickname’ – you can then choose to have the site display the name of the organisation by choosing that option in the dropdown.
  3. Enter your website address in Website.  This will be shown in the Biography Box at the bottom of each post you make.
  4. Enter a short paragraph about yourself or your organisation in ‘Biographical Info’.  This will be shown in the Biography Box at the bottom of each post you make.
  5. You might want to change your password from the default that was given to you when you made the account.

Once you have completed these steps, we will enable your account for posting, so that you will be able to contribute articles.  If we are taking too long to do this, please give us a nudge at hello@spanishfoodworld.co.uk
